Meet the instructor
Christopher Stollar
Christopher Stollar is an award-winning author and speaker who is represented by senior agent Paula Munier of Talcott Notch Literary. She is helping him publish RESPAWN, a science fiction thriller about an artificially intelligent robot who tries to escape from an augmented reality competition where people can hunt and kill him for sport.
The author’s debut novel, The Black Lens, exposes the underbelly of sex trafficking in rural America. Christopher successfully crowd-funded and self-published that passion project. It won him Grand Prize in a national competition from Writer’s Digest, which regularly publishes articles by him, promotes his webinars on writing, and invites him to speak at their Annual Conference in New York City.
As a former reporter with both a master’s degree in journalism and accreditation in public relations, Stollar conducted more than three years of research on sex trafficking for The Black Lens. That includes interviews with survivors, social workers and police officers.
Christopher currently works full-time in marketing for a Fortune 100 company. He is also a longtime board member of a nonprofit social justice organization who speaks regularly at international, national, and local conferences about writing, publishing, and human trafficking. In addition, he is a neurodiverse author with obsessive compulsive disorder who has #OwnVoices experience that drives the heart and soul of his stories.
